Our meeting (at Hay Street Methodist) got started right on time. President Al rang the bell, Kirby sang and pledged, and George Hendrix offered the invocation. We hope not too many of you forgot about the Rec Center being used for early voting.

Announcements:
-There are still unsold tickets for the reverse car raffle available. We have usually sold out by now, so we need a last-minute push to get us sold out. Contact Garry Winebarger if you can buy another ticket.
-Awards night was a huge success thank you to President Elect Jim Schaffer and the Awards Night Committee
-Kiwanis Day of Giving was also a success Kiwanis International set a goal of $75K and brought in $130K.
-The transition of web sites is complete. If you haven’t asked for anr received your new log in and pass word contact Sec Bob.
-Baseball season is just around the corner. Opening day is tentatively set for April 6 and we need signs and sponsors.
Birthdays: Ray Quesnel completed another trip around the sun.
Program: Max Ruppe introduced Preston Griffin the Area Director of Youn Life who presented the history and mission of the program whose motto is Introducing middle and hi school aged kids to Jesus and helping them to grow in that relationship. With 5800 staff and 57,000 volunteers they provide services to more than 2 million kids in 100 countries. They are organized into Committees that carry out contact work, club meetings, Camp , and campaigners. They are always in need of more donations and volunteers.
President Al’s number was pulled and he walked away with $47 in the 50 50 raffle.
